Director - Public Budget Division
Mona Bajman is the the director of budget division in the department of finance – government of dubai since 2011 . Her key responsibilities include: Managing the preparation of the Dubai Government annual budget, and providing required guidance and support to Dubai Government Departments, reducing the Expenditures of Dubai Government Depts, improving Dubai Government Revenues, preparing Budget Execution Reports, analyzing Dubai Government Departments Budgets and developing and automating the budget preparation process.
In the same department, she had previously worked as a director of the revenue management division, and head of accounts section in the accounts division.
Throughout her professional career, she received the Certificate of Recognition and Appreciation for participation and winning in the DOF Awards for Excellence for Best Initiative in 2011, the Certificate of completion of Young Leaders Program in Mohamed Bin Rashid Centre For Leadership Development and many others.
Mona holds a bachelor Degree in Business Administration (with distinction) from Dubai Women's school, and a highr diploma from the accounting business school from the same college with distinction with honors.
About Public Budget Division:
The Public Budget Division represents the strategic dimension, which links the Emirate's goals to the available financial resources. The Division prepares Dubai's medium- and long-term fiscal plans in cooperation with all government entities. In addition, it works on continuous communication with government entities in order to raise the partnership levels with strategic partners, to find optimal ways to achieve financial sustainability and to meet the necessary financial support to government entities in Dubai. The Division is also concerned with continuous development of financial systems and procedures in order for improvement to ensure facilitating procedures without compromising the systems' quality.
