Dubai emirate occupies a leading position in all areas thanks to the wise policy of Dubai rulers; This policy made Dubai a hub to excellence and prosperity seekers. The Department of Finance works to support Dubai economic track, and to achieve a balance between the many strategic, economic objectives of Dubai.

From this point, Dof's strategic importance is reflected by its active role in supporting Dubai's mission. DoF led a series of initiatives which have contributed to the passing through the Economic Crisis, including the establishment of Dubai Fund for Financial Support which provides financial liquidity to the strategic projects for governmental and non-governmental organizations. In addition to the initiative of the Islamic Securities (Sukouk) which falsified doubts and confirmed investors rush proving that Dubai is in the recovery phase of the crisis. Dubai has regained its economic activity, the domestic financial markets and economic sectors have revived.

Dubai's ability and sophistication to face and overcome the economic crisis is the best proof of the financial & economic status of Dubai at the regional and global levels. By a reaffirmation said by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashed ALMaktoum ; Dubai will fulfill its promises and its financial obligations in the coming years.
